Everything is fine fine fine through the sunshine and the rain!!!

Well another week is over with this week seemed to go by pretty slow but now looking back it seems to be a flash. We have had some really good things happen this week! Lets start first with.... Blossum.. We have been teaching Blossum who is really active in her other church but she has come to church one time and she loved it. Well we had a baptism date for her on the 28th but that fell through so we had planned to give her another for the 11th of september. So we were at her house teaching her The Gospel of Jesus Christ and we were going through it principle by principle and we were on the Holy Ghost something seemed to be bothering her or something she just seemed antsy so we stopped and Poulsen must have noticed it as well cuz he asked do you have any questions or concerns about anything we have taught? she paused and then looked up and down and said when is the next baptism? i know that these things are true and it is as if someone is telling me that its what i need to do! She started crying and i mean crying almost to a sob she was just so sad about having to give up her other church and she doesn't think she can just up and leave it like that. it was a really spiritual lesson and now we just have to help her understand that there is only one true church! Ok next on the list would be..... oh i got to do my very first baptism interview this week! that was pretty exciting Edler Dale and Hoffman had a baptism saturday night and i got to interview her for it. i was so dang nervous but it wasn't bad at all!! On saturday we went and helped our Neighbor Mark.. he raises chickens and it was time to kill some so he wanted help so we went and helped him clean them. talk about a pain in the butt that is a job and a half. he would cut there heads off and then they would hang up side down for a bit then he would dip them in Hot water and then he would give them to us to pluck all the feathers off.

 it took almost 2 hours for me to clean 2 chickens. shoot if ducks were that much of a hasel. i wouldnt hunt them. that was R..I...D...icoulous thats for sure! ummm well thats about all that i can remember about the week but everything is going good. hard to believe i have been here almost a whole transfer already. we should be getting transfer calls later this week or early next week transfers will be next wednesday i hope i stay here with Poulsen im really enjoying serving with him! anyways i love you all have a good week!!!

"its just a 5,000 dollar ticket"

well another week is gone and what a good one it has been! so funny story i got pulled over this week ha ha its just a 5,000 dollar ticket though!

we were on our way to district meeting and i was driving its a 4 lane high way 2 lanes going each way. well i was passing a car and it honked at me. i was like whatever car im not even close to you. well i look on the other side of the road and a bus is flashing its lights. AKA slow down cop ahead. well thats why the car was honking at me trying to tell me to slow down but it was all to late. the cop walked out into the road put his hand up and told me to go to the side. he took my licence and all dissappeared into the bushes where his car was and wrote me a ticket. whats weird is he gave me the choice to sign it or not and said i didnt have to so i didnt. i guess we cant pay them anyways cuz we dont have a TRN number so it will make a good journal entry lol. another funny story.. we were sitting at the stop light and there was a little girl probably about 4 or 5

 and she was a chunky little butter bean she was selling ginup well i thought it was funny so i got my camera and took a picture trying to be all sneaky and all well my flash went off so i totally got busted evryone turned and looked at our truck then the light turned green Poulsen stalled for a minute till the cars cleared and then flew past all of them haha it was funny!!! we have also been seeing Alfred alot in just random places on his bike (he is the one that throws his arms in the air and yell MY LORDS then honor honor) he pretty much worships the ground we walk on :) it makes the day seeing him he just yells so loud and its just funny!!! this week has just been crammed full of funny things its been hilarious! our AC in our truck is broke so we have been baking in the truck.

also this week we had a area president here Elder Vinas. He is doing a mission tour so we had a zone conference on saturday it was awesome. he is a super nice guy, we have also had a couple awesome lessons with steve. he is so cool solid as a rock to. we shoulda been having another baptism this coming sunday but Blossum didnt come to church sunday so we had to postpone it so that suck but she will eventually be baptized she said she walked to her church yesterday and she said that it just didnt feel right the whole time she said she was thinking about our church and about everything she has learned so thats good so maybe next week she will be baptized but everything is going super good here im lovin Kingston. i have no idea what we are gonna do today randle and his comp are staying with us they came in for zone confernce so im not sure yet. anyways i better get going im short on time. i love you all!!!! have a good week!!!!!

"another week gone and over with"

Well here it is another week gone and over with! what a busy and good week it has been. seems like all week we have been busy trying to get steve prepared for baptism we seen him every night and everything went awesome i dont think i will ever teach some one like that again just some one so prepared or so excepting to everything we taught. it has been awesome teaching him! Steve was baptized on sunday morning so everything went good! saturday night we had to go to the church to fill up the font so we cleaned it out first and then we were just waiting for it to fill up so we played a game of horse. using a box juice which is like a box milk carton and we used the trash can we got pretty creative it was a ton of fun i had Poulsen beat but some how he came back and won dang it. Elder Poulsen is awesome i am having a blast serving with him! i cant really think of what else happened this week. i know i went on a trade off with Elder Gurr he is a brand new missionary been out 2 weeks about we walked like crazy shot all the way from one side of there area to the other my feet were pretty sore at the end of the day shoot i cant remember anything else that has happened this week thats bad lol love Stetson

Well good morning all! i will jump right on into the week i guess and see what i can remember from it! ok well tuesday what happened tuesday shoot i dont remember lol but i know what happened wednesday lol we had ZLC or zone leader conference where all the zone leaders get together and talk about stuff about the mission and each of their zones and goals and all kinds of stuff it was at presidents house. after it was over i went to the back room and found the box with my cowboy boots and some other things in it that i couldnt take to cayman with me because of the lack of room. i got it back it was good to slip on my boots and walk around the house. now they are used for my book holders on my desk haha..

The rest of the week went really well we have 3 people with baptism dates 2 for next saturday. Ten-a and Steve. steve has totally come prepared and everythiing we teach he just loves and he knows that its true so thats awesome. he had a wonderful experience at church sunday also so that was good! lets see what else. There is a guy here that always sits on a corner near our house and everytime we drive by we honk and he throws his hands in the air and yell MY LORDS then he crosses his arms over his chest to make an X and then says honor honor it is the funniest thing ever! oh yes also ummm thursday to celebrate my one year mark we went to Lil tokyo to eat dinner and when we left it had been pouring rain the whole time we were in there which was like 45 minutes well the roads had rivers running down them there was so much water traffic was horrible it pretty much ruined the night we ran to boulevard to get the missionaries there so they didnt have to walk in the rain it was crazy lightning and thunder and all. the most i have ever seen it rain!! Well i dont know what else happened this week i got my guitar back so thats good ummm well i will send this and see if i can think of anything else!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL stetson

"Cayman just seems like a dream"

Well hello from Jamaica!!!! wow it dosent even seem like i left here. Cayman just seems like a dream. it seems like i went there once. but it just seems like a long time ago.. anyhow the plane ride back was so bumpy we were in the clouds the whole time it was not the best but we made it safely.. once i got back i went straight to meet up with Elder Poulsen and Martinez. we pretty much just ran around the rest of the night went and got ice cream and that was pretty much it. well the next day was transfers so we went to Yallahs and picked up the 2 there and then headed to Spanish Town. lots of new missionaries came in 7 i think total. 3 are being trained in the kingston zone so thats pretty cool. once we got back to kingston and took the missionaires to yallahs again we got back home at like 7 so we went out and seen a few people. then the next day ummm i dont relly know what happened the next day lol saturday we went to district confernce in spanish town driving here is nuts you pretty much cn do what ever you want and you gotta watch out for the other guy doing what he wants.. we have a truck here so thats nice. the roads are horrible. then on sunday we went back to spanish town for another part of district conference i got to see a bunch of people from Linstead that was way cool.. i got to see Naketa and the richards and joys daughter that got baptized after i left and a whole bunch of other people.. so that was way cool... ummm i cant fall asleep at night its so hot i got spoiled in cayman with the ac so know i just lay there forever. and our shower is freezing cold but it has tons of pressure so thats nice. other than that nothing has really happened we have met a guy that is from the states and he is here with a member and we had a dinner there after we ate she told us to stay and talk to her friend steve so we did well he wanted to know his purposee in life and we said well we have that answer for you. and from there on he has loved every bit of it he says this is the reason he came to Jamaica so he is way cool... this morning we woke up to a flat tire on our truck so the office elders came and got us and then we went to get iot fixed but everything is closed today for a holiday so we couldnt get it fixed so we are currently driving the mission bus around hahaha its pretty fun to drive. i feel like a taxi man we went and played ultimate frisbee at the park and now here i am at the mission office emailing so that has been my week. i didnt want to come back to jamaica but im enjoying it so far Elder Poulsen is way cool and that makes everything awesome so ya anyways i love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

waited at the airport for him for well... ever his plane was 2 hours late.
well we finally see him come out so i slip into the trunk of our car. randle
pulls up pops the trunk i come out reaching for him it was hilarious i got
it on video hahaha yes!
