"wow what an awesome week it was"

good morning!!!! wow what an awesome week it was. i think the reason being was because of bob and bonnie. they are awesome and they just made my week!!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE STUFF!!!! the shoes fit good and the razors are the right ones and grandmas cookies seemed like they just came out of the oven. they are delicious. i almost have them all gone. haha the football is way nice i dont know if i want to throw it. haha its to dang nice!!  i got some pictures but i left my camera in the car darn it! sounds like your week was crazy down in vegas!! probably hot just like it is here huh but not as humid! hmmm i cant really think what else happened this week i just know it was good cuz bob and bonnie came!!! oh i had to go to the hospital on wednesday. i think i had a killer migrane on tuesday like it about killed me. i called sister hendricks she said to go home and rest and told me to do all kinds of stuff but nothing helped. i had the migrane from 10:30 to 8:30 or 9. 2 excedrines didnt even help. so the next day i went to the hospital they gave me allergy pills to take and said that had to be the cause of it. so i have been taking them and havent had one since. they gave me a pain killer but havent had to take one!! ummm what else hmmm i dunno what else! oh i was wanting the branding pictures like printed out you know what i mean and the send them to me in the mail :) crazy granny! anyways i love you all and thanks again for everything i love you!!!!

PS: YA I WENT TO THE CHIROPRACTOR ALSO. BROTHER MEL VANCE IS ONE AND HE ADJUSTS US FOR FREE AND HE SAID NOT TO TAKE THE PILLS BUT JUST COME IN AND SEE HIM MORE REGULARLY SO WHO KNOWS HE DID POP ME PRETTY GOOD BUT WHO KNOWS IF ITS ALLERGIES OR MY BACK WAS OUT OF PLACE!!!

"march is almost over so crazy!!!!"

well another week is gone!!! crazy huh this week flew by and march is almost over so crazy!!!! well me and elder dale are staying together thats cool they called with transfers this week! crazy i have been here a month and a half already huh! well things went good this week we taught some good lessons and we have met some really good people that are just awesome Winsome is the latest she is awesome such a nice lady!! ! but nothing really exciting happened just the same old stuff lol it has been pretty nice here breezy but not scorching hot.. i had to teach district meeting wednesday it went ok not the best its weird teaching it over skype ummmmm ya i went to church and got sick afterwards after lunch! i got really sick my body was aching and i had a fever and when i would stand up i felt like i was gonna pass out.  i took a tension headache pill but my muscles were still achy. i thought that would help. i dont know what the deal was there but i feel a little better today still kinda drowsy but better! i got your letter this week. mom thanks for the $20 still have it in my wallet lol hoping to buy some good food with it today ummmm lets see  our shower had a crack in it and it was leaking on the people below us so we 

had to use our landlords shower for 2 days but its all better now! ummmm im excited for bob and bonnie to get here thats gonna be so fun!! i wish we could drive them around but we cant do that darn it just have to visit them for a while then maybe eat lunch with them i wish we could spend all day with them darn.... anyhow sounds like it is warming up there a little thats good!! hey ya i got the pics and the video of jett man he is a chunk. what you feedin him? lol we went and got an estimante how ever that is spelt ummm on a hair cut. freak one lady said 30 dollars i about jumped out of my pants and they were so snotty and rude they said they would texturize it for 10. freak they are nuts her scissors must be gold or something! guess im gonna have to go to the local beaner and have him cut it lol anyhow im gonna go i'll think of some more stuff hopefully! love ya Stetson

PS ummmm 20 will buy me i dont really know haha i dont know how low i am on money. probably am cause its getting down towards the end of the month! dale has been here since september some time im legal to stay here until november 15th or something then my work permit expires so i could stay till then just depends!!

The tourists Elder Montgomery and Elder Dale met recently were, Jean Phillips and her family from Rupert, Idaho and Wendi Smith and her husband from Centerville, Utah. Crazy thing is, I know Jean Phillips...small world, huh? But she didn't know Elder Montgomery was my son. When Wendi asked them for their “Moms” phone numbers so she could call us when she got home, she said they looked a little surprised...like “really” you're gonna call my Mom? They both said it was fun seeing missionaries on the island and visiting with them. They said they "looked great!!!" Jean said her daughter spotted them as soon as they got off the ship and went running up to them,"they were so excited to see us!"
"They were both so friendly, and looked happy and healthy," they said.
Thanks again for the phone calls Jean and Wendi! It was such a fun surprise!

hey hey hey hey good morning!!!! thats crazy you knew that lady from rupert! they were way nice people. we have been seeing quite a few members it seems! ummm my shirts are good and my pants are good i just dont know what else for you to send. the shoes that i wear now have holes in the bottoms but they will last me for awhile but i dont know if i should have you send more with him or not ummmmmmm crap i guess you could just for later on they are expensive here. shoes anyways ummmm size 11 or 11.5 dont get 12 they are to big...elder randle had size 12 docs and they were to to big so prolly an 11.
 i dont think they have half sizes! ummm what else i dont really know honestly...
you could send pixy hahaha!

This is "Pixy" our little dog that Stetson would have nothing to do with the day we brought her home. He thought she was "worthless" because she wasn't a huntin' dog.
Pixy has since proven to Stetson that she is one of the smartest "bird" dogs he's ever had.
She has a little stuffed duck that she'll go and find...all you have to say is
"Where's your duck?...Go get your duck!" 
And she will go look until she finds it and then will bring it to you.
You can tell by his "you could send pixy" comment that he obviously really does
 love and miss his little Pixy~dude!  

the okeys came from the bahamas and took us to dinner saturday night at a steak house. it was way good. then after church they took us to another place called prime. they are a senior couple. umm this week we have been doing a lot of finding mostly. we have found a couple good people but we will see how that goes! it has been really hot here and its only gonna get hotter. but other than that nothing really special happened this week the week flew by though so that was good! ugh let see here ya i dont really know what else oh i got you letters that you sent on tuesday i think so that was cool! how the girls doin? tegan is almost done with school thats crazy!! bai is doing good in softball??? how bout school???

wynn palmer a member here always asks me what im gonna do when i get done and shoot i have no clue everything i think of im just like why would i want to do that lol but i still gots a while till i have to make that decision! anyways everything is going good. its almost transfer time again not this week but next week.

Pres Hendricks came wednesdsay so that was cool. we got to spend most of the day with him! he is awesome! this week was good we had another baptism. Dee-an got baptized in the ocean on saturday it was way cool! elder dale babtized her. she also bore her testimony in church it was so cool she is solid. none of her family was at the baptism so that was sad. her mom thinks we are the devil church.  we went and saw her last night and they were getting ready to go to church so we asked if we could go. so we went with them. it was ridiculous! like the preacher was just going on and on about nothing. kinda weird. i asked elder dale what are we learning and he said i dunno so we asked dee-ans sister and she didnt even know. its like they just go to listen to the preacher for 2 hours then thats their service. shout a couple of amens and dance and listen to loud music and thats it. kinda strange.... lets see i dont really know what else... i can never remember what happened through out the week. i know that it flew by though. i have almost been here a month already!!! oh has anyone called you from idaho or utah??? we met some tourists from rupert who took your number and they said they were gonna call you and also the ones from utah said they would call also. it was cool talking to them!!! ummmm what else hmmmmmmm i dunno everything is good though its been hot and rainy this week but some way pretty sunsets thats for sure!

HEY HEY good morning!!! wow what a crazy week!!!! we got a phone call from Jack on monday or tuesday and he said lets get the baptism on the road lol so we had a baptism saturday night Brother ashby jacks good friend baptized him it was a really good baptism service brother palmer gave a talk and it was awesome the spirit was so strong!!! we still have De-Ann scheduled for baptism this coming saturday she is awesome! her friends have been giving her a hard time but she fights her battles well so thats good she is gonna be an awesome member!!! we have been trying to find new people to teach so thats what we have been doing most of this week!!! Hugh Hornett is leaving to south africa he is a member probably the funniest guy on the island he is hilarious!!! we had a farewell party last night for him at the Palmers house ate cake and cookies and all kinds of goodies! the Palmers are awesome! hmmmm what else i forgot my camera cord today so i cant send any pictures darn it... President hendricks is coming to the island to interview de-ann on wednesday so we get to spend the day with him that will be exciting!!! i dont know if he is gonna bring my guitar. that would be nice but i havent asked him! it has been way hot here 92 was the high of this week crazy huh the nights still cool off to about low 70's though so thats nice. everything is way expensive here i bought a milkshake the other day that costed me 5.75 US sheesh crazy. but its really nice here it just sucks for trying to teach people during the day because everyone is at work so we have to always find stuff to do during the day. its not like jamaica where you can walk down a street and talk to a billion people but its going good! i need to learn spanish though we are teaching a couple people that cant speak that good of english so thats tough! by the way i got the pretzel package!!!!! they forwarded it from kingston to me it was awesome!!!!!! thanks for the letters and the goodies!!!! no they werent all crumbs they were actually still in pretty good shape! there was big hunks  too! hmmmm i cant think what else but i will send this and if i think of anything else i'll email it!!!

hey my eyes have been bothering me i dont know if i should get my eyes checked or what a member let me put her glasses on and everything seemed so clear but i dunno what to do..... and there is no eye doc in the ward darn it. but just like when we are siting teaching a lesson or something it seems like i cant see that good and i feel like im in a tunnel or something i dunno how to explain it i ran out of money on my mission card this week. i had ordered food at wendys and so elder dale had to buy my food it was embarrassing. but any how i only got a few more minutes but i was thinking if maybe grandma would make me some banana oatmeal cookies and you could send them down with bob that would be awesome i dont really know what else i need hmmmmmm

hey hey!!!wow another week gone crazy huh! this week flew by!!! it seems just like yesterday i was in here at this internet place!! im enjoying cayman its really nice and the people are nice. i had to give a talk in church sunday it went good. i had it all written down on paper then i was sitting there and just had the feeling of leaving it on my chair when i went up. so thats what i did! just took my book of mormon. its nice being able to talk about rodeo or roping and people actually understand what your talking about here so that was nice!!! we have a baptism on march 5 th it will be in the ocean so thats cool. dee-an is her name. she is awesome. she is going to be an awesome member! I need zach to come and teach me some of that spanish! we have a couple investigators that speak very little english so knowing spanish would help out a lot!

Yes dad i got the magazine with all your little foot notes in it. haha crazy ol man! how are the horses? have you sold anymore or are you still increasing the herd haha. have ya been using spit or is he just a lawn ornament? better keep him tuned up for me. being dumped on him once was enough. put skinny on him and make him rope at the brandings! i dont know what else i need you to send me. ummm i cant really think of anything i need. things are more expensive here. money is not in US its in CI but most places take US i think. ummmm this week was good we had some crazy moments with some people we had one lady freak out on us cuz we called her mom by her first name that was ridiculous we just wanted to give her mom the sacrament but she wouldnt let us it was ridiculous she was rude slammed the door in our face crazy!!!! last monday we went to see dolphins and then we went and sat on the beach! then that night at family home evening i had to teach the lesson. i was nervous but it went good! then at church a guy from utah came up to us and said he wanted to go teaching with us! we didnt have any set appointments we still had to call and confirm them. we took his number and said we would call him. well 30 mins later he texts us and said that the spirit was pressing on him that he needed to go with us to see a less active. but we didnt have any. and we didnt really feel comfortable taking him just because of how he was acting with us. so we didnt take him. we didnt even see anyone so we couldnt really take him. we went to 2 different churches last night the first one the preacher was way prideful and it was honestly scary!!! the people looked at us like we were some weird people they wouldnt even wave at us.... the next one we went to was just getting over they were nice the preacher came to us and shook our hand we met most the people there we said thanks for being so nice and he was like thats what the church of Jesus Christ is known for right so that was strange. Thursday Hugh took us to dinner at a way nice steak house it was so good way expensive. so good having a good steak! then on friday we went to a business meeting with a millionaire he used to own a pro football team in canada he wants to get ensigns in work places so we went and discussed that with other members at lunch it was way good!

hello from Cayman!!!!!!!!!

 wow its so nice here its like serving in the states i guess! (dont know what thats like but if i had to guess) the people are way nice. my flight was way good. i flew by myself. i got here at about 8 tuesday night. its awesome here you can pretty much see the beach wherever you go. wednesday we went and ate lunch on the water front where all the tourists come in off the cruises its weird seeing white people thats for sure! im having to adjust again. i was just getting used to Jamaica and now im in little america lol. having a car is way nice!! i drove for my first time on Thursday. crazy driving on the other side of the road. but im getting used to it! we went running on the beach the other morning and we went this morning also. that was a killer haha i about died! but we have some awesome investigators one with a baptism date march 5th so thats cool. but ya Cayman is cool just trying to readjust i guess you could say!!! Elder Dale is awesome!!!! an awesome missionary and a super chill guy!!! he hit his year mark in January. we have lots in common so thats a plus!!! it seems that we have alot of similar things that have happened to us in our lives and some stories he tells to investigators its like he is telling my story so that is cool!! but he is a hard worker and an awesome guy i couldnt ask for anything better!!! he served in Kingston and was there for quite a while and has been here almost 5 months. but the week has went awesome. oh and he plays the freakin guitar like its going out of style man he can play way good he wrote his own song and everything its awesome so hopefully he can teach me a thing or 2!!! but my guitar is in jamaica.... elder gardner didnt know if i could bring it with me on the plane so i had to leave it. i think he just wanted to use it. he is learning how to play so that kinda worries me a little but maybe they will bring it when they come for zone conference! and ya they fly out here for zone conference just the assistants and the mission president though

any how i didnt have many opportunities to get pictures so hopefully next week i have some to send home! but ya i dont know what else oh our apartmant is nice its like going to a nicer hotel you know what i mean? not super nice but classy lol and hot water woohooo thats awesome! but ya everything is good here! hope everything is good there i love you all! love stetson

Here’s the rest of  January 17th email "that no one was suppose to know" until now...lol.

so thursday we went to kingston for a zone conference. well i got taken out of the zone conference with the office elders they said you have to come with us. so i went to some place who knows what it was. then i had to go to the police station and wait in line forever. 2 hours actually. then they took my finger prints and i was like why am i here? what did i do? well come to find out

im being transferred to

the freakin' CAYMAN ISLANDS!!!!! woo hooooo!

i cant believe it.  i was shocked when they told me. hahaha it was so crazy they wouldnt tell me when though it could be this transfer or the next. so febuary 9th i might be on a plane lol crazy huh!!!! when we got back to the zone conference elder brough was like cayman. thats awesome. i was supposed to keep it quiet and i dont know how he found out. dont put that on my blog ok. no one is supposed to know im going. i heard from elder gardner that it was his favorite area he is one of the assistants he said its just like bein in the states the members are rich they feed you and they give you gift certificates to the steak houses he loved it!!! i know its crazy its a big change plus i get a car hahaha. i hope randle gets transferred there too. me and randle would white wash it.... that would be cool.. hey look for elder ware in phoenix thats where he is.

Its Transfer week!!!!!!!!!!!!!

elder Gardner one of the assistants called us yesterday before church and told us about transfers. i leave for cayman tomorrow at 4 haha crazy huh!!!!
elder wilson is getting transfered to he is going to Kingston! so yesterday was a day of going around and saying goodbye! im glad they told us we were leaving before church! so that was we got to say good bye to people at church! it was pretty sad i got up and bore my testimony and told them that it was my last sunday here in linstead i think i seen some tears or maybe just alot of sad faces i dunno! but after that we went and hung out at Tara's she made us dinner then we just said goodbyes and all that it was sad they are awesome!!! Tara said she is gonna make my wedding cake :) after that we went to Sister Robinsons for more dinner. ugh shoot me. lol and we were there till it was time to come in. when we got home we packed and started cleaning up and elder randle called i got to talk to him and peterson that was cool. im not gonna see peterson on the mission again he will be gone before i get back. then we played battleship to see who the champion was and he was kickin my butt he had 3 of my ships found then i made a glorious come back and beat him by one shot ah yaaaaa :) seems like we were just workin the kinks out and we were starting to have really good lessons and things were going good!!! then we get transfered but thats how it goes i guess! we had a pretty good week we met a lady named Joy! she is so cool we met her last sunday and we went and seen her everyday of the week she is AWESOME. she thought we lived and died that was it well we taught her the plan of salvation and she was shocked it was awesome she told us yesterday she hasn't felt this good in a long time she said i actually have a purpose in this life it was awesome but its gonna be hard to say bye!
then at church we talked to brother Grant afterwards and we just pretty much said bye but i said you know i thought i would be the one to baptize you but i guess not! then i bore my testimony to him and wow it was so awesome he made the comment about something. he said "WHEN" I get baptized! Not "IF WHEN"!!

that means he is gonna do it so it was cool just to here him say that. but he is an awesome guy! other than that the week was mainly just walking around trying to find some new people to teach so Joy was the highlight of the week!!! any how i just gotta go to the house and pack. then the assistants are picking us up at 1 tomorrow then im off to cayman!!! wooohhhooooo!!!
