Well another week is over with and it will be my last one spent here in cayman :( Saturday morning i got the call from President Hendricks that i would be headin back to Jamaica. I will be in Kingston with Elder Poulsen im gonna be a zone leader in the Kingston Zone. he is one transfer behind me so im older than him and this is like his 2 transfer in kingston. and yes we are getting 7 new missionaries today or tomorrow. umm elder poulsen seems pretty cool he is from a po dunk place in nevada Alamo. i think. he is nice. he was in my zone when i was in jamaica and i got to know him a little bit. but kingston is huge yes. and just busy. but everyone that goes there says that they love it so we will see. I cant believe that my time is up here already im bummed that i have to leave. This branch here is awesome and know that im leaving im gonna miss it a whole bunch. The members here will pretty much bend over backwards to help you out with anything you need so thats one thing that has been good here and also just the branch it self its pretty amazing! But i guess its time for me to go somewhere else. The new missionary Elder Mccreedy gets here tonight at 7:30 and i fly out tomorrow at like 1. President Ashby will be getting back today i tried to call him but he said that he was in Atlanta on a plane so he couldnt talk so that whole deal worked out perfect. Anyways this week has been a week of trying to rebuild the "teaching pool" We have been doing tons of knocking doors and all that had a little bit of luck but nothing much! i cant really think of what else happened this week.... Sunday was really good though it was defiantly a good one to end on. church was good we had 5 or 6 investigators there and 1 general authority lol so that was cool. after church we just went around so i could tell people bye. stopped by the hospital to see Sister Small she is mad that im leaving. she just kept saying tell them you got the flu and you cant go back or tell them just to keep the other one in Jamaica and you stay here lol she is funny. 

Elder dale must of told Jack that i was leaving. he called me on Saturday and was all so whats up? i was just like nothing. then he said ok i see how it is your just like any other Rodeo cowboy just come to town and not tell anyone your leaving and leave them all broken hearted. he must watch to many old westerns. Thursday night we got to go to dinner with Jordan and Margret the new interns for Del-sol we went to pasta night again and also Chris and aubry the 2 that took Chad and Megans spot went also. had a good time there with them. The lady that im had make those reins for me dosent have them done i doubt she has even started them she was like you told me to take my time... well ya that was like 4 months ago lady lol so we will see if she has them done by tomorrow or not. But anyhow i dont really know what else happened but i will send this and then if anything else comes to mind i'll let you know!!! ya Pday is still on monday!! and its pouring rain here now what a great last day huh lol and i just got another letter from you today. the one you typed. well its time for us to go i love ya mom thanks for everything!!! Well its Monday again!!! Pretty crazy. this week flew by with our trip to Jamaica and all it felt like from Tuesday to Friday was just in fast forward and now here it is another new week! We went to Jamaica for zone conference usually they come out here but they had a whole bunch of people that participated in the conference so they just shipped us over there. Got to meet lots of new missionaries. i hardly know half of them from being cooped up in Linstead and then coming out here. a lot has changed so it was fun to meet some new ones. after the conference we went to TGI Fridays all of the zone was there our total bill was like 35,000 Jamaican thats insane. they are gonna love the missionaries. After that we stayed the night at the Kingston zone leaders house Elder Martinez and Poulsen then the next day we hung out in the office till it was time for us to get on the plane and head back to Cayman. We had to go to Miami i never knew it was so hard to get back in your own country lol they had lines and lines of things for us to do. maybe it was just because we were coming from Jamaica. but that airport is huge we had to take 2 trains a billion escalators and finally we got to our terminal by the time we got there i was pooped. by the time we got back to Cayman it was about 7:30 or 8. first thing we did is went and seen Naketa. She was leaving the next day so we wanted to check and see what time her flight left. then on Friday we had just a normal day i was so tired from the flights that i was draggin my butt all day. we got to see Naketa one more time before she left she told us that she is going to get baptized on the 30th in Jamaica so i hope that still goes through. then we had a branch BBQ at the beach that was tons of fun! We got there a little early to help out but some how we found our way to the swings we were swinging and then Randle was all you have to jump out so he went first then i went i totally biffed it my foot rolled in my clod hoppers and i went down it was so funny. i had sand in my pockets and all over. we got to play some volleyball also and we also got so good pictures. At 7:30 we had Kerry-anns baptism interview that was crazy we had to take the web cam from the church and go to her work place cuz she couldnt leave work for a minute or 2 i didnt think we were going to be able to have it but we finally got it done! Saturday we were running around getting things ready for the baptism no one would answer there phones so we had to go to there house and ask them if they would give a talk at it finally it came down to it and it all went good! I got to baptize her it was awesome the whole thing was good the talks and everything couldnt of asked for anything better!! It was funny i was in the water with her and she looked so nervous then she looks at me and says DONT DROP ME hahaha it was so funny. It was a really cool experience. Sunday she was confirmed in church so now she is a member woohoo!!! Randle had to give a talk and also the 2 new interns. also we had tons of visitors here some from Utah Idaho and Arizona Mesa even. but none of them knew Rob Bob Slob Bartlett. but ya that was pretty much the week!! we have a lunch appointment today at an indian resturant then i have no clue what we'll do.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELDER RANDLE

Well HAPPY MONDAY AGAIN! seems like the week just flew by again sheesh! well the shoes look like they will be perfect!!! they are the exact same ones that randle has and i wore them a couple time and i loved them so good goin granny!!! well this week was pretty good. we didn't have our baptism dang it. Kerry an called us and told us that there was no way that she was going to have enough time to see us and to squeeze in the interview she is a workaholic and she has some crazy hours lately. but we are on for next Saturday so thats way cool! i think this week was just the average week nothing to exciting happened found out that there are red necks where ever you go dont matter where you are  

 anyhow... We had a pretty cool experience this week last Saturday we met a guy named Hectar. well on sunday we had planned to go and see him at 4. well there are just some people that you just look back on after talking to them and say is it really worth our time to go back?? well after church we went to sister smalls for a quick visit then after that we left and Randle asked where to now? i thought and then looked at my planner and saw Hectars name. i thought hmmm he probably has forgotten we are coming and it will be weird but i said lets go see Hectar.. when we got there he was expecting us and invited us in his wife Digna came out and joined us.we were talking to them and getting to know them. Digna hardly speaks English. they are from Honduras so we were doing our best. come to find out she used to visit the church in Honduras and she loves the church she would say over and over i love the Mormons i love the church.. so we asked do you know if its true and without hesitating she said yes! her husband has lots of questions about the church and has been awesome to teach he left for a week to New Jersey so thats a bummer but she is still here and she came to church and loved it! she told another spanish speaking lady that she had been praying that she would be able to come back in contact with the church and then thats when we knocked on her door thats pretty cool right there! We are still teaching Naketa and she is doing awesome we have had some really good lessons with her! ummm lets see here this sunday was really good Chad and Meghan Carter spoke in church they are going back to Utah Monday and they were giving there farewell talks they were awesome. Chad has to be one of the funniest guys ever he is always cracking jokes! last p-day Helen and peter invited us over for a BBQ for Peters birthday they are the type of people that will do anything for you. helen said i know you guys are away from  home and you miss home so i thought you guys would enjoy coming over for this later that night they had fireworks at Caymana Bay it was lame they lasted 5 minutes but it was better than nothing any how i dont really remember much but it was a good week for sure any how i'll send this and if anything else comes to mind i'll let ya know!

oh this wednesday we are going to jamaica for zone conference we are flying there. usually they come out here but for some reason we are going there. we fly out at like 7 wednesday morning and then dont get back here till thursday night at 7.

"Well lets see here..... this week we had some pretty funny things happen! well this is what i remember anyways! well we will start with Austria.. We were knocking some doors and Austria opens up! thats not her name we just dont remember it! She had a weird accent so we asked where she was from. She said Austria i immediately about bust up laughing and when i looked at Randle i knew he was thinking the same thing!  DUMB AND DUMBER when Llyod says thats a lovely accent you have... New Jersey??.. girl AUSTRIA .. Austria well good day mate lets put another shrimp on the bar-by hahaha i was wanting so bad to say it but i couldn't bring myself to it! so we talked to her for a bit but she wasnt interested... well on thursday night we had a dinner appointment with the Carters for Randles birthday at Grand ol house for there Pasta night.. we got there early and we were just walking around and waiting on the carters when we hear some one say hey i know you two... we turn around and it was Austria she works there. well we talked to her for a bit then the Carters showed up. they asked if we had a table and we told them we had no clue how it worked. so they were looking and they asked one of the waitresses and then that one went and asked Austria so we were giving her thumbs up and stuff trying to get her to give us the only table in the place and sure enough she gave it to us. so its a good thing we knocked on her door!! Pasta night was really good. you walk up to a table that has a bunch of different things on it chicken onions peppers ham cheese just a ton of stuff well you get a chef and you tell him what you want and then  he puts it all in a pan then you pick the sauce you want and then the type of noodles and wa la you have your own made pasta!!! it was really good!!! 

sometime this week we were at Naketa's and she was saying the closing prayer. she talks so quiet that you can barely hear her well i swore i heard her say Amen so i was hesitant but i said amen well i look up and she is still praying i look at randle and he has a look like what are you doing? i was like crap and then put my head back down and almost bust up laughing it was not good at all but it was pretty funny!!!! She is doing really good she is one of our best investigators by far!!! Church this week was good it was full finally it had been kinda slow the last couple of weeks Kerry-ann, Yolanda and Nakeeta came to Church yesterday. That was really awesome. We had so many people at church that we had to sit in the hall. It was a good sacrament meeting. We got to stand in on 2 baby blessings so that was way cool and then after that we were in the hall and the doors were shut and they are passing the sacrament and we had just got the water and there is a guy trying to get in the chapel but Gabriel wouldnt let him in. he is all pissed and stuff so like at the same time me and randle stand up and pulled him aside and start talking to him he was all thats a bunch of garbage if i cant go in. we said just wait till this is over and we will be able to go in. after that they opened it up for testimonies well there was only about 30 minutes probably and i told randle i probably wouldnt go up well he said if i go you go so i said ok and he said and you better be up there right after me so when he got up to walk in i swept in right behind him and followed him in. when we got to the podeum he turned and was a bit startled for how close i was he said he wanted me on his heels so i was lol i sat down then after he went i went!  Then after church we went and saw Hector, he was someone that we found earlier in the week. We went and saw him and found out that he is married and they are both from Honduras. Well it turns out that his wife was visiting with missionaries back in Honduras and that she used to go to the Church all the time and she prayed and knows that the church is true. She was really excited for us to find them. They attend a different church but not for really any special reason. Hector told her he kinda had a problem with the Book of Mormon and she was trying to teach it to him. Then he brought up some small concerns to us but after we explained things to him he was very open. So we are excited to start to teach and work with them. after we seen them we went and had dinner at the Rhones and then after that we went and seen kerry-an we hadnt seen her all week she has been busy doing someones auditing or something so she has had to work late so we were worried about her baptism date so we asked her and she said yes but why does it have to be in the middle of the week? cant it be on a weekend we were like what day did we say? i thought we said the 9th but she said the 12th so we told her that it was the 9th and then everything was good so this saturday she will be baptized!!! woohoo and thats pretty much the news for this week!!! it flew by these last 2 weeks have gone by super fast but anyhow happy 4th of july and its my 11 month mark today incase you forgot :) love you all!!!

Well another week is gone!!! CRAZY how fast this last week went. Seemed like everything was in fast forward! Well first off i didn't write down much about what happened this week but i will try to remember some of the things. This week was a good one. For the totals we have 3 people with baptism dates- Kerry-an July 9th Yolanda- July 9th and Naketa- July 30th and a couple others that are right there with them so hopefully this week we can get some more people ready! Church... we had 3 investigators at church Jana, Angie and Arilio Church was good the sacrament meeting went really good the last speaker kinda went a little crazy... lets just say you would never hear some one talk about that kind of stuff back home... pretty much called his wife out for not being at church anyhow ummmmm... Right as soon as he went on talking about it i leaned back and looked at Randle who was sitting with our other investigator and he looked at me and we both had the same thought..... CRAP... my thoughts were excatly that i was thinking our investigators are gonna freak i was so embarrassed! but we made it through it! Or was it just the start?.....Gospel principles lesson was on... the... Law..of...Chastity.... remember this is 2 of thems first time at church.. well the lesson went good actually Jana was talking and was really into it so it was good bro. palmer does a good job at teaching the class and he knew it was going to be awkward he told a story about how he was on a bike ride one time and they were on these cliffs and how it was like a 30 foot drop and he had to stop cuz he is deathly afraid of heights so he sat there and the leader came and asked him well wynn where are you eyes? where are you looking? he said in this funny voice... im looking at the freakin cliff man im gonna fall down this thing.. the guy then told him no look on the safe side..... something then he tied that into his lesson but it was really good! all 3 of them said that they were going to come back next week so thats good! In priesthood President Ashby was talking about how easy it is to start talking about religion to people and how because of people thinking about running for President and how The Book of Mormon Musical came out... he said i have no idea who would want to watch a musical about the life of a missionary he was all no offense guys but your life is pretty boring it was funny. then later on we had dinner at the Ashby's and that was pretty much Sunday. This week we had dinner with the Chad and Meghan Carter They had told us that we were going to Grand ol house for dinner at 6:30 so we went there like 10 minutes early the lady asked if we had reservations i said well its probably under chad carter so she looked and nothing was on the list Randle had snuck away to the bathroom so i just told her that we would wait until they got there. Then a guy came up and was asking the same thing... they were like freaking out so i got up and went to the bathroom when we came out we sat on the chairs and thats when Chad called and said that they weren't doing the pasta night or something but he told us to go to Eats Cafe and we would eat there... so on our way out i grab 3 mints out of the bowl and Randle grabs one well they were the best mints so Randle is like go back in and grab some more i was like no way unless you go with me... so we go in and i block the way for him and we load up on them hahaha it was hilarious! Then on Friday night we had an appointment with Chad Powell and his family they live way out towards like east end so we get out there and we were starving we were hoping that they would have dinner but we had never said anything and neither had they but we get there and sure enough TACOS! there little boy Chado is crazy he was on like a computer chair and he jumps off well the chair spun but luckily he landed on his feet and he holds up is hand like to give his dad a high five and was that was awesome man. then his dad just looked at him and left him hangin chado just kept his hand up looking around like come on man give me a high five! well i dont really remember anything else that happened! Things are going good here thats for sure still had no mail in the post office all week and still no sign of a package...but thats a good makin for a song lol anyhow i love you all!!! Love Stetson

After several attempts of calling every phone number we own...Wynn Palmer, the Cayman Islands Mission Leader, was finally able to talk to Laytn in behalf of Elder Montgomery and wish him a Happy Fathers Day.  Elder Montgomery and Randle were visiting the Palmers like they do most every Sunday and because of mission rules Elder Montgomery was not able to talk to him, but of course we could hear him and Elder Randle in the background...."We Love You!...don't let Spit (his horse) go to pot...haha. Pres. Palmer said he has really enjoyed having Elder Montgomery serve in his area. He assured him that he has been working hard and is doing great. Despite the fact that Elder Montgomery "ropes" him all the time...lol...He said "I have nothing but good things to say about him...He's Awesome...You did good. We love having him in the branch."

ya that was way nice of WYNN Palmer to do that! we always go over there on sunday nights at like 8 or 8:30 and we just talk about our week. well we were just sitting there and he says so your get to call your dads? we said no he said well whats the number i'll call for you? we must of had weird looks on our faces cuz he said what... its not you doing the actual calling so we tried and tried i called every number i knew and finally Breht answered then we eventually got a hold of you guys so that was way cool of him!! he was like i know how it is and you probably miss your dads and all that! any how...i still havent got your package unless its there today we havent checked the mail as of yet! so hopefully its here.

.99 cheese, .65 pot pies and 1.19 aunt jermima waffles sounds like a good week already!!! lol that was the buys of the week here! we usually check the grocery store around lunch time to see what they have marked down like the stuff that has to be sold before the next day or so! so we got 8 bags of shredded cheese and a bunch of pot pies and a freezer full of waffles!! things are just so dang expensive here that we have to look for the deals sometimes. we think well what are we gonna do with 8 bags of cheese??? but we just cant pass it up so we get it!

2 baptism dates!!!! Kerry-an and Yolanda both have dates for the 9th of july if yolanda is still here she will be baptized here but she is planning on moving to England this week i think so thats a bummer. but the missionaries over there will get lucky! then Kerry-an is awesome she has been investigating for a while now and finally Clive moved back to Jamaica so now she can be baptized and thats awesome so we are stoked about that!!!!

We have to feed him???? haha we took Frank Rivers teaching with us he reminds me of Snuffy he is just a big kid he is 15 but could be about 23 but he is the nicest kid ever! Well his mom cooks us lunch every saturday so after we ate Frank came teaching with us he was with us all dang day! from 2 to 9ish well at 7 we left an appointment and he said are we done yet? we said nope one more in west bay he said ummmm.... guys... my... stomach... is... mad.... im hungry. i looked at Randle and then said We have to feed him??? it was hilarious so we stopped at burger king on the way and got him 2 cheese burgers and were on the road!

Lunch with the Rhones! Sunday morning we were talking on the way to church and we said we need to have a lunch today who could we have cook us lunch.... i said well maybe the rhones but usually she tells us before hand.. so we got to church had our meetings and then church started. the rhones came in a bit late but i was standing by the branch presidents office its right outside of the chapel. we were waiting on investigators. well anyhow sis rhone grabs my pen out of my pocket and walks to our dinner calendar and puts her name down for lunch WOOHOO!!!! well she out did her self thats for sure it was such a good lunch... almost like thanksgiving. Ham Mashed potatoes and corn on the cob and of course rice and peas and some roast but it was so good i loaded up on the ham its been a while since i've had a good ham like that!!!

Jack Henry gave his first talk on sunday! he is the one that got baptized not to long after i got here. He is the branch executive secretary and during our PEC meeting he was so nervous and after that he was pacing around up and down the hall. his wife went first and right when she said amen his face was like ohhhh crap its my turn i was in the back row and all i could do was smile at him he glanced over a couple times but still just seemed so nervous finally he loosened up but over all his talk was amazing!

Well i made a list of things that happened this last week and that was it! i got out of the shower and there was another one added to the list and Randle had written it on there and it says...

Elder Randle is AWESOME!!!! well that is true!!!! so i had better put that one here too!

We had a good week especially on finding! we found a neighbor hood that was pretty much lined with apartments. so we started on them and the street is only about 3/4 mile long but it took 2 or 3 days to knock on all the doors but we have got 16 new investigators this week! we have already seen most of them a second time so thats way cool it seems like alot of them are going to be really good! we were bummed that we only had 4 at church we were hoping for a big number but hopefully next week we can get some more to come out! but everything is going good here. we are tearing it up so hopefully good things come of it!!!! its cloudy today but has been pretty nice lately and yes its hurricane season so lots of rain but nothing to big yet its been raining alot in the middle of the night if it does so thats nice. we don't have anything planned for today  we just go with the flow. anyways i love you all thanks for everything and have a good week!!!!!

Another week is over can ya believe it? well today is Elder Petersons last p-day thats pretty nuts he goes home wednesday or thursday. we sure are gonna miss him! crazy to think that just roughly 10 months ago i met him and now he is going home. i guess thats how fast the time flies! We havent been by the ball field much this week. we have been swamped seeing people and all that. this week was a good one thats for sure. we have been out finding new people and that was really good! last week was tough on that end of the work but this week we redeemed ourselves! we have found some good people that really seem to have promise! Thomas being one of them really cool guy! earlier this week tuesday morning actually we were looking through are area book and we found a teaching record for Darsia. well we called and she called back a little while later. she said we could go and see here so i was asking where she lived and she said Prospect! ok.... what part? on prospect drive! ok.... which house she said do you know how to drive? i said yes we do! ok then 2nd house on the right brownish house! so we went over there got on prospect drive and found the 2nd house on the left called her and said ok we are outside she said no your not... she said you have to come all the way down prospect drive.... i said well you said 2nd house on the right..she said yes but i thought you knew how to drive.... i said we are driving right now..... then she said not how to drive...... HOLLY DRIVE lol it was hilarious i dont know whats harder trying to understand someone with a hair lip trying to order Curly fries (larry the cable guy) or trying to under stand a Jamaican :) but we found her so thats good! Wednesday i had to teach district meeting you know me wait till the last minute to prepare so i was doing that tuesday night! but they all said that it was good and they said we could tell you really took time in preparing it not just a last minute thing!! hahaha but it was good! Yesterday after church we went to the Rhones for lunch it was really good they had 2 different things of meat on the table Randle kept poking at one of the plates trying to figure out what it was Sis Rhone starts busting up laughing she said your meat is on the other plate unless you like cow foot hahaha after that we were heading back to town and nature called so we stopped off at the ritz carlton to use the bathroom. talk about a nice bathroom sheesh!!! we then were walking back to the car and there was a shooping cart by the side walk so randle jumped in it and i pushed him across the road it was like the seinfield where george is trying to get the frog game across the road it was hilarious!!! sundays always bring excitment! anyhow i dont really have much more to say that about does it for the weekly report i gotta keep writting stuff down so remember more but i love you all!!!
